On May 18th, the 21st (2024) China Animal Husbandry Expo and the 2024 China International Animal Husbandry Expo (hereinafter referred to as "the Livestock Expo") grandly opened at the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center. This marks the second time the Livestock Expo is being held at this venue.

In 2021, the 19th Livestock Expo was first held at the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center, covering an exhibition area of 165,000 square meters. The event attracted over 250,000 visitors from across the country, setting a new record for single-exhibition scale at the venue that year. The exhibition achieved great success in terms of exhibition effects, popularity, and supporting activities.

"The successful hosting of the 19th Livestock Expo laid a solid foundation for us to choose Nanchang again, making it the first time in the history of the Livestock Expo to return to the same city after skipping one edition," said Yang Ping, Director of the Exhibition Department of the China Animal Husbandry Association. "Nanchang's quality services, excellent business environment, and outstanding operation team attracted us to come back."

The China Animal Husbandry Expo, hosted annually by the China Animal Husbandry Association, has developed over 21 years into the world's second-largest and Asia's largest super-large international exhibition.

This year's Livestock Expo covers all segments of the domestic and international livestock industry's full industrial chain, with an indoor and outdoor exhibition area of 190,000 square meters, over 8,000 booths, and participation from more than 1,400 companies from over 20 countries. It is the largest single-edition exhibition in terms of scale and number of exhibitors. On the opening day, the expo attracted a high visitor flow of 136,000 people, setting a new single-day attendance record for Nanchang Greenland Expo Center.

To ensure the smooth hosting of this professional, international, and super-large exhibition, the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center has taken multiple measures, meticulously organizing and leveraging experiences from previous large-scale exhibitions. They focused on enhancing effectiveness, improving services, and upgrading quality to provide the most thoughtful service for organizers, exhibitors, and visitors.

High Attention, Careful Planning

On the afternoon of April 24th, the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center held a mobilization meeting for the 21st (2024) China Animal Husbandry Expo. The meeting emphasized the importance of successfully hosting the Livestock Expo and urged all employees and external cooperation units to wholeheartedly provide excellent service. Fourteen working groups were established, with the General Manager serving as the chief commander. Early preparations and detailed work plans were made, ensuring close communication with the organizers and formulating comprehensive plans well in advance.

Solid Support, Upgraded Experience

The expo received high attention from the municipal and district governments, with various functional departments organized for division of labor and on-site support. A series of scientific and meticulous measures were implemented for security, fire safety, traffic management, public transport, power supply, medical support, product quality supervision, and logistical support, ensuring the expo's safe and orderly conduct.

To facilitate exhibitors and visitors, the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center upgraded both software and hardware aspects of the venue. Enhancements included installing outdoor escalators, expanding parking areas, and erecting outdoor canopies, further enhancing the exhibition experience for participants.

United Efforts, Quality Service

Given the large scale, high standards, and numerous exhibitors of the Livestock Expo, the venue implemented a dual-service mechanism of "Project Manager System + Venue Manager Responsibility System," deploying hundreds of staff daily to advance various tasks in an orderly manner during the expo. Collaboration with main contractors, logistics units, and others was also strengthened to improve service measures and establish a robust support system, ensuring high-quality service and the successful hosting of the Livestock Expo.
