As a sunrise industry, convention industry has become the "weathervane" of urban development with its huge industrial demand and remarkable economic driving benefits. But the sudden outbreak of Covid-19 pressed the pause button for the convention industry in Nanchang. In order to hold exhibitions under the prevention and control of Covid-19, and join hands with Nanchang convention industry to overcome difficulties, the seminar on “Support the recovery of Nanchang Convention Industry, Restart Exhibition under the Prevention of Epidemic " was held at International Expo Center.

In the afternoon of 2^nd, June, the seminar on “Support the recovery of Nanchang Convention Industry, Restart Exhibition under the Prevention of Epidemic "，sponsored by Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center，was held at Greenland International Expo Center. More than 30 people attended the symposium seminar, including Conference and Exhibition Industry Development Department of Jiangxi Department of Commerce, Nanchang Conference and Exhibition Management Office and Nanchang Conference Organizing Company, etc.

Xiao Jiahu, General Manager of Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center, officially introduced the new operation and management team of Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center to the attendees. He also pointed out that since Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center was managed and operated by Greenland Barcelona Exhibition Company from April 1, it has raised the political profile, hold the "Set up Greenland convention as a name card, Establish Jiangxi convention as benchmark" as the enterprise's goal, serve and develop Nanchang convention economy as the mission of the enterprise.

During the Covid-19, the Expo Center kept close contact with relevant departments of government and responded positively to the requirements of higher authorities. Although all the exhibitions have been cancelled or postponed from January to May, the Expo Center has adopted a number of measures under great difficulties and pressure, such as, reduce the site rent, reduce the onsite service fees, upgrade the service level to support the exhibition organizing enterprises. In terms of relevant charging standards, the charging price list for 2020 has been adjusted, only reduced but not increased. Compared with 2019, the prices for a number of on-site services have dropped significantly, even lower than the price of nearby exhibition centers. In terms of service, the exhibition center proposed "Four Basic Principles of Quality Service", regard customer satisfaction as the highest principle, adopt a "nanny-style" service, to fully serve the exhibition organizing enterprises, give strong support to Nanchang convention industry.

In early May, Greenland International Expo Center set up the epidemic prevention working group of the exhibition, keep in mind epidemic prevention when restart convention. Under the advice and guidance of the epidemic prevention department of the district, and in accordance with the epidemic prevention work guidelines of the National convention industry, the Epidemic Prevention Work Plan of Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center has been formulated, and take ventilation, elimination, flow limit, temperature measurement and other effective measures,  work together with the organizing enterprises to do epidemic prevention work and support the recovery and development of the convention industry as soon as possible.

At this seminar, relevant government departments and exhibition organizers are full of confidence in the new management team of Greenland International Expo Center, very excited about the quality service improvement proposed by the new team, at the same time, highly praised the recent measures taken by the new team to promote the development of the convention industry. In the meanwhile, hope the new operation team of Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center will spare no effort to make use of Greenland's project resources all over the world, actively introduce relevant enterprises and industrial conventions of the domestic and overseas, cultivating brand exhibition projects with local characteristics and advantages of Jiangxi Prov., promote the prosperity and development of Nanchang convention economy, drive the construction of a beautiful city in Nanchang to a higher level.
