In strict compliance with the safety management requirements of the local public security authorities, and with the guidance and support of the Jiulonghu Police Station under the Honggutang Branch of Nanchang Public Security Bureau, the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center has established an emergency unit system characterized by “rapid response, coordinated operations, and joint handling.” Centered on the principles of “police-led initiatives, internal security linkage, and mass prevention and governance,” the center has formed an efficient and professional “emergency response team.” This t

eam is designed to enhance the initial response capability to emergencies within the exhibition hall, ensuring that in the face of sudden incidents, the approach is to “detect early and handle effectively.” It truly safeguards the security of exhibitions.

Standardization of Emergency Configuration

To ensure the efficient operation of the emergency response team, the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center has established an "Emergency Coordination Workstation" outside the exhibition hall. It has formed the smallest emergency unit consisting of three people and set up fixed posts at Gate No. 2, exhibition entrance, and security checkpoints. During exhibitions, five personnel are arranged for mobile patrols, creating a rapid response mechanism of "1-minute self-rescue, 3-minute mutual rescue, and 5-minute coordination."In addition, an emergency material storage point has been established, fully equipped with whistles, protective shields, long sticks, safety steel forks, anti-stab vests, and cut-resistant gloves. Regularization of Specialized Training

To enhance the professionalism and emergency response capabilities of the emergency response team, the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center, under the guidance of police officers from the Jiulonghu Police Station, has conducted multiple specialized drills for the "Smallest Combat Unit" in emergency response. Through a dual-track training model combining "theoretical teaching and real-scenario simulation," the team members have not only acquired professional emergency response skills but also boosted their confidence in dealing with emergencies.During the training, the team members learned key knowledge such as preliminary handling of violent and terrorist incidents, identification and isolation of suspicious explosive items, and optimization of evacuation routes in densely populated venues. This ensures that they can respond quickly and effectively to complex and rapidly changing emergency situations. Inside the exhibition hall, at least one emergency drill is conducted every week. Now that the drills have become routine, the response speed and handling capabilities of the emergency response team have been significantly improved.

Normalization of Security Services

The emergency response team of the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center is not only the "outpost" for venue security but also a promise we make to provide a reassuring service to every exhibitor and visitor.During the 24th Nanchang China Home Expo held from March 7 to 9, team members of the emergency response unit, wearing reflective vests and red armbands, moved between various booths, becoming a beautiful highlight of the exhibition site. Over the three-day exhibition period, nearly 20,000 people attended the event. Faced with such a large number of visitors, more than 160 security personnel were deployed to form the smallest emergency units, successfully handling multiple emergencies: they stopped several instances of "scan code for prizes" activities, promptly dissuaded indoor smoking, dealt with unapproved outside fast-food operations that had not been reviewed by the quality supervision department, and cleared unauthorized street vending by exhibitors.

At around 11 a.m. on March 8th, while patrolling inside the exhibition hall, a member of the public approached the emergency response team, reporting that they had lost a mobile phone worth 6,000 yuan, which contained important data. The emergency response team immediately sprang into action. One group went to the central control room to review the public surveillance footage, while another group broadcasted a lost-and-found announcement. Eventually, the lost phone was successfully recovered. This incident not only demonstrated the team's efficient response capabilities but also highlighted the venue's commitment to providing comprehensive safety protection for its visitors.The proactive formation and effective role of the emergency response team at the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center have been highly praised by the public security authorities and have attracted widespread social attention. Numerous media outlets have reported on their successful experiences and innovative measures.
